Trying out different restaurants and cafes would need to be one of things that my fiance and I love
to do. For our own 3rd anniversary, he suggested trying out the Themed Buffet at Hotel Jen (former Dealers
Hotel Manila). His officemates explained to him they tried this before and recommended this. They also pointed
him into a deal being offered at Metrodeal where you'd get 30% discount. I guess you simply can't get any better
opinions than that, right? He chose the Themed Dinner Buffet provided by P760 (valued at P1088) for each
person.
Since our anniversary fell over a Thursday, the theme for the dinner buffet was Pinoy Fiesta. I love other
cuisines but classic Philippine dishes would still be along with my foodie list. It's my ultimate comfort meal.
The Kare Kare was pretty good along with our super favorite, crispy pata. What I love about buffet
settings like these is which it reminds me of those town fiestas back my mom's hometown. Foodstuff laid
out and you merely choose the dishes you choose.
It was a absolutely satisfying meal and we all really enjoyed it. Totally worth every penny! More so since my fiance started using it
on discount. We actually opted for try the other styled dinners some time--they get Asian on
Mondays, Mexican-Spanish with Tuesdays, Jen's Specialties (makes an individual wonder, right? ) with Wednesdays
and Sundays, Pinoy Fiesta Thursdays, Fish Grill on Fridays, along with Barbecue Party on Saturdays.
